This does not give medical advice, assess anyone, check eligibility, recommend a service or predict what a plan will pay. It will not answer a question about your own health. Your question is sent to this site's own server to be answered. It is kept for ninety days with no address or identifier; a question about your own health is refused and not kept.
What this can answer
- Which of the seven documented services say they operate in a province or territory, and which ones have a conflicting or missing record.
- What a public drug plan lists in any of the thirteen jurisdictions, with the conditions and the document date.
- What a service displays for each of the six fee components, in the unit the provider used.
- What a medicine is authorized for in Canada, what its Drug Product Database status is, and how the products under one ingredient differ.
- What a published study reported, in the words of the explainer for that study.
Every answer is assembled from records on this site. Each one shows the page it came from, the source behind it and the dates, so you can open the record and check it yourself.
What this will not answer
It has no way to know anything about you, and it is not allowed to guess. A question about your own health, your eligibility, your dose or whether something suits you is answered by a pharmacist, a physician or a nurse practitioner, not by a website.
It also will not tell you whether a pharmacy has a medicine on a shelf today, because this site never records that. It will not rank the services or recommend one. It will not predict what a plan will pay for a specific person, because a listing is not a claim decision.
How it works
The question is matched against an index built from the same records the site publishes. The matching records are sent to a language model with an instruction to answer using only those records. The answer is then checked before you see it: every record it cites has to exist, and every number it states has to appear in the records it cited. If either check fails, you get the records themselves instead of the answer.
That means it can be wrong about which record answers your question, and it can fail to find one. It cannot invent a figure and present it as documented.
What happens to your question
Your question is sent to this site's server, and from there to the model provider, Anthropic, in the United States, so it can be answered. Anthropic deletes it within thirty days unless its safety systems flag it. This site keeps the question, the answer it showed and the records it cited for ninety days, with no address, cookie or identifier attached, so the maintainers can see which records people need and where the answers fall short. A question the page refuses, such as one about your own health, is counted by category and its text is never kept. Nothing is used to build a profile.
Do not type anything about your own health into the box. It is not needed to get an answer, and the honest reason is simple: information you do not send cannot be mishandled.
